Trentino is among the most innovative regions in Europe.

A statement that comes from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, which, as part of the European Week of Innovating Regions (WIRE), held in Innsbruck on 4 - 6 July, chose to present as a best practice the innovation and promotion of the entrepreneurial culture by the ProM Facility of Rovereto and by the Contamination Lab of the University of Trento.

This year the conference, which over time has become a European reference platform for experts in regional innovation, policy makers, national and local authorities, knowledge centers and private companies, will focus on three “intelligent areas”, Connectivity, Entrepreneurship, Science & Research, whose enhancement promotes the development of regional research and technology transfer ecosystems, as well as the exchange of views and best practices to prepare the next generation of European funding programs.
