The balance between tax and contribution revenues of immigrants in Italy and the public spending for immigration is largely positive in favour of the public administration. This was stated in an article of Leone Moressa Foundation on "LaVoce.info". The Foundation's researchers say that the costs paid by the public administration for the immigrants (health, education, housing, justice, etc.), roughly 14.7 billion euro, are largely offset by the fees and contributions variously paid by the foreign workers, who in 2014 reached the volume of 16.9 billion euros.
